ERIE, Pa. — Four alumni of the Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend will discuss their experiences in wealth management when the Finance Speaker Series returns to the college.
The panel discussion will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, in Room 001 of the Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center, located at 5101 Jordan Road. The program is free and open to the public, and free parking will be available in the deck located behind the Burke Center, off Technology Drive.
Panelists for the event include:
- Brad Prosper, a 2015 graduate who currently works in Pittsburgh as an investment analyst at XPYRIA Investment Advisors. He is currently a Level III candidate in the CFA Program.
- Dan Kress, a 2015 graduate who works for Kress Financial Services, a firm that specializes in retirement and investment planning and manages more than $200 million in assets. He recently passed his Series 66 and 7 exams, and is educationally ready to take the CFP national exam after completing the CFP program at Penn State Behrend.
- Aaron Filbeck, who currently leads the Joseph Group’s investment research and portfolio construction efforts as the firm’s portfolio manager. Filbeck also is pursuing a master’s degree in finance.
- Brenda Newlin, vice president and wealth strategist for PNC Wealth Management. She holds a CPA designation and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
