Half-gallons of Berkey Creamery ice cream on sale now

ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend Alumni Society is taking orders for its annual sale of the University’s famous Berkey Creamery ice cream.

Twelve varieties of the ice cream so fresh that it “mooves” from cow to cone in four days can be purchased online with a credit card at behrend.psu.edu/creameryicecream or by calling the Penn State Behrend Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 814-898-6089.

The flavors available in this year’s sale are bittersweet mint, butter pecan, chocolate, chocolate chip cookie dough, coconut chip, cookies and cream, death by chocolate, peachy Paterno, peanut butter swirl, strawberry, vanilla bean and WPSU coffee break.

Half-gallons of ice cream are $10 each, or $9 for orders of three or more. Orders must be placed by Tuesday, May 14, for pick up at Penn State Behrend between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 22.

Proceeds from the ice cream sale benefit the Penn State Behrend Alumni Society Scholarship at the college.
