We're here to help.
Student Affairs provides a variety of support and advocacy resources. Assistance can include counseling and emotional support as well as help in managing challenging academic, living, and working situations. We help students experiencing academic distress; financial, housing, or food insecurity; the death of an immediate family member; family emergency/crisis; mental health concerns; medical emergency, hospitalization, or long-term illness; and unexpected events or challenges.
Committed to Safety
Student Affairs is committed to the safety and well-being of all members of the Penn State Behrend community. Student Affairs strives to create a community in which students’ actions reflect the Penn State values and an environment free of acts of violence, harassment, and infringement of privacy and property rights.
Whether a student has experienced an incident or is alleged to have engaged in wrongdoing, Penn State has many service offices that can assist. Student Affairs helps students find resources that meet their individual needs in dealing with academic or personal challenges.
Students should use the Online Reporting Options page to report any of the following incidents or learn more about how any report will be handled.
- Behavioral Threat
- Bias-Motivated Incident
- Hazing
- Sexual Misconduct
- Student Conduct
Student CARE and Advocacy
To share a concern about a student experiencing academic, health, safety, or financial distress, report a concern to the Penn State Behrend CARE Team. The CARE Team reviews information provided for a student who requires support and determines ways to help.
