Although being a member of the Honors Program does not guarantee scholarship funds, some of our Penn State Behrend scholarships give priority to students who are members of the Schreyer Scholars or Behrend Honors programs. No separate application is required to receive consideration for those scholarships, which usually range from $1,000 to $2,500

First-year students selected to join the Schreyer Scholars Program will receive four-year renewable awards of $5,000 per academic year. Behrend also provides an additional $2,500 for first-year students, for a total amount of $7,500. This highly selective program requires excellent SAT scores and high school performance. Students may be considered for admission to the Schreyer Scholars Program after their first year; however, scholarships are not guaranteed.
