Plan ahead for your appointments.

Advising appointments fill up quickly during the registration timetable. If you wait until the last minute to make an appointment, you may not be able to meet with your adviser before your registration date. If that occurs, please see "choose your courses" with information about planning your schedule. You can always review your schedule with your adviser after your registration date.

Starfish Help

Schedule an appointment:

  • Log into Starfish using your Penn State email and password.

Academic Advisers:
Look on your LionPATH homepage for the name of the adviser assigned to you and select that person below. If you have a faculty adviser, you can find their contact information in the "My Advisor" section in LionPATH.

To cancel the appointment:

  • Click the “x” in the upper right of the appointment block on your Dashboard.
  • If you need to cancel, please do so well in advance and give your adviser some reasons why the appointment is being canceled.
  • If you have questions, stop in 1 Reed or call 814-898-6164.

To change an appointment:

  • Upcoming appointments will be listed on your Dashboard in the timeline view (left column). Click the edit icon (a picture of a pencil) to modify the appointment or the cancel icon (an X) to cancel it.
  • If you choose to cancel an appointment, please do so as far in advance as possible so another student can use the slot.
