Can you believe all that has changed at the Behrend Center? We extend a hearty invitation to come back to where it all began.
Pioneer Alumni are those who attended Penn State Behrend and graduated from Penn State or Penn State Behrend in 1974 or earlier. Your celebration will be part of Parents, Families, and Alumni Weekend: October 18-20.
You and a guest are invited to a special Pioneer Alumni Celebration on Saturday, October 19.
We first invite you and your guest to join our Scholarship Celebration, at 10:00 a.m. in Erie Hall, where you will be seated at a table with our highest achieving student-scholars and their families. During this brunch, we hope you can share your memories of Behrend with our future alumni and you can hear from them about life at Behrend now.
After brunch, we invite you to an exclusive reception for the Pioneer Alumni and their guests beginning around 11:30 a.m. During the reception, we will have photos and yearbooks from the early college days and invite you to bring along some of yours. Bring both your memories and your appetite.
Weekend highlights include a guided campus walking tour, a historic Glenhill Farmhouse tour, Yahn Family Planetarium shows, a free picnic luncheon, a Berkey Creamery ice cream social, and Midnight Bingo (at an earlier time). During the weekend, you can stay at one of Erie's many local hotels at a discounted "Penn State Behrend" rate.
We know you will be proud and amazed by what Penn State Behrend has become. All the hopes and dreams for the Behrend Center are becoming reality. Come see for yourself!
