Charges:
- Analyze and evaluate the online learning experience from Spring 2021.
- Review survey of students of their online experience taken by Teaching and Learning with Technology and identify actionable items.
- Discuss ways to enhance the quality of remote learning and academic integrity.
- If needed, consider conducting a new faculty survey to see if the old issues pointed out by the report have been resolved or improved, or if any new problems have emerged.
- Status/progress:
- Charge I: The committee reviewed the survey results of Penn State students’ experiences by Teaching and Learning with Technology. Results and analysis can be found in the appendix.*
- Charge II: The committee designed a new faculty survey to gain information about the after-effects of our remote-instruction period as well as the experiences and takeaways since the return to face-to-face instruction. Meanwhile, survey questions are updated to explore what ways that can further improve aspects of teaching that relate to technology in the future. The new faculty survey can be found in the appendix.*
