More than 210 students presented their capstone projects at Penn State Behrend’s Fasenmyer Engineering Design Conference. The projects included sustainable bioplastics, an AI camera system and a smartphone app that can identify human bones at forensic recovery sites.
Penn State Behrend track-and-field athlete Dan Dabrowski set school and meet records in the discus on the final day of the State University of New York Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. Dabrowski, a senior from Harborcreek, recorded a 53.32-meter throw, breaking a meet record that was set in 1979.
