Carter Tobin, a sophomore from Irwin, won the 60-meter sprint at the All-Atlantic Region Conference indoor track-and-field championships. He finished in 6.81 seconds, setting a school record for the second consecutive week.
Penn State Behrend’s STEAM Fair offered more than 100 learning stations, including a locomotive simulator, virtual-reality immersions and a TV green-screen. More than 1,400 people attended the event.
Penn State Behrend’s basketball teams won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships on Feb. 28. The men defeated Pitt-Greensburg, 66-61. The women beat Penn State Altoona, 78-61.
Ten Penn Staters will be honored with the 2026 Alumni Achievement Awards. Recipients will return to the University Park campus to share their expertise with students and be honored at an award ceremony on March 20.
The Penn State Behrend men’s swimming and diving team won its first State University of New York Athletic Conference championship in a four-day meet in Buffalo, New York. The women’s team placed second.
