Eric W. Corty has been appointed director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Penn State Behrend. He has taught in the school since 1993.
“A Muse of Fire,” this year’s spring concert from Penn State Behrend’s Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, will be held April 23 at First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, located at 250 W. 7th Street in Erie. The program will feature a rendition of “Requiem,” the seven-movement piece that is among the best-known works of composer Gabriel Fauré.
