Purpose

The Institutional, Educational, and Diversity Committee (IEDC) addresses issues of diversity across the campus.

Charges

  1. Work with the Office of Student Affairs and Office of Institutional Equity to establish and maintain a culture on campus that welcomes and supports international students, students of color, and students of other underrepresented groups to enhance success.
  2. Locate graduated international students, students of color, and students from other underrepresented groups to obtain testimonials for recruitment and retention.
  3. Increase faculty and student awareness of resources for those with physical, cognitive, and other disabilities.
