    Work with your academic adviser to discuss a variety of topics, including how to find the appropriate resources on campus.
  • Work with Educational Equity and Diversity Programs
    The Office of Educational Equity and Diversity Programs supports and serves as an advocate for diverse populations within the college community, aiming to create an environment that promotes respect for differences while fostering caring relationships and cross-cultural understanding and appreciation throughout the campus.
  • Disabilities and Learning Differences
    The Office of Educational Equity and Diversity coordinates support services, reasonable academic accommodations, and promoting disability awareness in the university community.
  • International Students
    The Office of Educational Equity and Diversity Programs provides support and information to all of our international students and plans social and educational events throughout the year.
  • LGBTQ+ Resources
    Contact the Office of Educational Equity and Diversity if you have concerns related to an open, safe, and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students at Penn State Behrend.

  • Adjust as an Adult Learner
    Find information on Adult Learner Programs and Services, which is a tangible expression of Penn State's commitment to providing comprehensive services for non-traditional undergraduate students.
  • Couples Counseling
    At times, problems in a relationship can lead to stress and disruption in your life. Couples counseling is an option when at least one partner is a full-time student. Married, unmarried and LGBTQ+ couples are welcome.
  • Eating Disorder Support
    Eating disorders are complicated medical and psychological issues that affect a wide range of individuals. At Penn State Behrend, the Eating Disorder Support Team (EDST) is here to help and confidentially guide students who may be struggling with disordered eating with the goal to positively impact overall wellness and ensure effective treatment.
  • Get Help with Homesickness
    Find advice on coping with being away from home, family, friends, and a familiar environment.
  • Building Resilience
    Resilience helps you to better cope and make adjustments when you find yourself in tough situations.
  • Handle a Roommate Conflict
    Find advice on how to handle a conflict with your roommate. Contacting Residence Life at Penn State is a great way to start.
  • Have a Mental Health Screening
    See a list of available online mental health screening tests available through Penn State’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
