ERIE, Pa. — We’re at our strongest when we come together as a community. It’s the same when our voices come together as a choir. “We Gather Here Together,” the fall concert from the Choirs of Penn State Behrend will offer a reminder of that.

The concert, free and open to the public, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in the college’s Larry and Kathryn Smith Chapel.

“Our repertoire is drawn from a wide variety of locations and traditions, all with a focus on solidarity and community,” said Gabrielle Dietrich, assistant teaching professor of music and director of choral ensembles. “The accessible and lively music in this concert will delight listeners young and old.”

Concert selections range from songs by a 17th-century Guatemalan composer to modern Maori as well as 20th-century pop tunes.
