Samiha Choudhury, a 2024 graduate of Penn State Behrend, is the recipient of the third-annual Mary Behrend Impact Award, which is presented by the Women’s Engagement Council.

John B. Lloyd, a longtime community advocate and investor in Jamestown, New York, has been awarded the Penn State Behrend Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.
Penn State Behrend track-and-field athlete Brandon Konieczki set a program record in the long jump at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference indoor championships, clearing a distance of 7.16 meters. Konieczki, a sophomore from Erie, won the event.
The Penn State Alumni Association will honor eight prominent young alumni for their outstanding professional accomplishments at the 2025 Alumni Achievement Awards Ceremony on March 28. The event will be livestreamed.
The Penn State Behrend baseball team split two double-headers against Eastern Mennonite in the team’s first action of the 2025 season. Daniel Boehme, a senior from Peters Township, opened the third game with a two-run double in the top of the first.
