Donations for this year's Trash to Treasure sale at Penn State Behrend will be accepted in Erie Hall during the weeks of May 1-5 and May 8-12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Penn State Behrend’s softball team posted a 12-0 record at home this season, earning the top seed in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference playoffs. The baseball team enters its tournament with the second seed. The campus' golf, tennis, and track and field teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights.

Brian Bohman gets 200th hit

With a single, a double and a home run against D’Youville, Brian Bohman, a senior from Erie, surpassed the 200-hit mark in his career at Penn State Behrend.

Tiffany Beers developed Nike's self-tying "Back to the Future" shoe. Beers, a 2002 graduate of Penn State Behrend, discussed the project at the campus' Fasenmyer Engineering Desgin Conference.

Tiffany Beers '02, a senior innovator at Nike, will be the keynote speaker at Penn State Behrend's 2017 Fasenmyer Engineering Design Conference. She helped develop Nike's HyperAdapt 1.0, a self-tying sneaker.
