Penn State Behrend’s baseball and softball teams exited the NCAA Division III regional tournaments with losses to Catholic and Dominican, respectively. The baseball team closed its season with a 29-13-1 record. The softball team finished its season 33-10.
Penn State Behrend’s baseball and softball teams won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships. The baseball team defeated La Roche, 7-1, and the softball team defeated Mt. Aloysius, 5-2.

The Penn State Behrend track and field teams won the United East Outdoor Championships, which were held at Behrend on May 4 and 5. Head Coach Greg Cooper was named Coach of the Year.
HanBin Lee, a 2014 graduate of Penn State Behrend, was recently honored as one of 11 Penn State Alumni Achievement Award recipients. He is the first Korean person to receive the honor, which recognizes alumni 35 years of age and younger.
Oleksiy Goncharenko, a member of Ukraine’s parliament, visited Penn State Behrend on April 24 for a talk as a guest of the Public Policy Initiative. He discussed the war in Ukraine, the need for U.S. military support and the future of NATO.
