The Lion's Pantry: Alleviating Food Insecurity on Campus

January 6, 2022

Nearly 20 percent of students at four-year colleges do not have sufficient access to safe and nutritious food. Penn State Behrend is no exception to this statistic. In this session of Rise & Shine, the assistant director of Civic Engagement and The Smith Chapel will discuss the increasing need to combat food insecurity on campus and how the Behrend Lion’s Pantry has grown to become a needed resource for many students.
