LEADS: An Early College Experience Program

The LEADS program offers high school students the opportunity to explore their options in higher education and examine possible career path. To be eligible, students must be high school juniors with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, who meet any of the following criteria: Member of an underrepresented group; first-generation college student; economically disadvantaged student; or a student who may be underrepresented in their planned field of study (such as a woman pursuing a STEM field or a man pursuing a nursing program). LEADS participants will have the opportunity to earn college credits and participate in other workshops and field trips, all at no cost to the student.

Women in Engineering

Women in Engineering (WIE) is an outreach program for 10th- and 11th-grade students held every year in November. Our primary goal is to introduce students to what an engineer does, what kinds of engineering careers are available, and explain how engineers help the world in general. The program is open to students of all genders, but focuses on the inclusion of girls interested in engineering.
