Emergencies: Call 911 or go directly to the Millcreek Community Hospital, Saint Vincent Hospital, or UPMC Hamot emergency departments. The hospitals are located approximately 20 minutes from campus.
How to Make an Appointment
The Health Center offers a convenient appointment system for all of your health care needs. It is based on a triage system so that more seriously ill students are seen first. In addition, same-day appointments are available for acute medical problems.
There are several ways to access clinical care at the Health Center.
- You can use the online appointment system. This is the most efficient way to schedule or to cancel an appointment.
- Call 814-898-6217 during regular hours to schedule or to cancel an appointment.
- Call ahead or walk in if you have a serious injury or condition which requires immediate attention. Students with medically urgent needs are seen immediately.
How to Cancel an Appointment
To cancel or to re-schedule an appointment, please use the online appointment system or call 814-898-6217 at least 1 hour before your scheduled appointment time to avoid a "no show/no call" fee of $30.
To cancel a women’s health annual or initial appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance in order to avoid the “no show/no call" fee of $30. Fees for "no show/no call" are applied to your student account.
