The 18-credit History minor is designed to complement a wide range of social studies and humanities majors by affording students the opportunity to examine change and development in human societies over time. Students are free to select courses in the topics, geographical areas, and time periods that most suit their needs and interests.
Supporting Courses and Related Areas (18 credits)
Select 12 credits of HIST courses.
Select 6 credits of 400-level HIST courses.
A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor.
Since courses for the minor may also fulfill General Education Requirements, it is relatively easy to design a program of study in history that will be a useful and enriching complement to a degree in another discipline
