As a collaborative art form, theatre brings together different disciplines, different senses, and different perspectives to create a story greater than the sum of its parts. That’s why Penn State Behrend’s Theatre minor is appealing to a variety of students—those who are already studying in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as students from other majors across the college.
In the 18-credit Theatre minor, you’ll gain an understanding of all aspects of the theatre—not just the performance aspect but also the historical and cultural impacts of the art form and the technology and skills that contribute to the experience.
