Presentation Guidelines

Penn State Behrend - Sigma Xi Undergraduate Research and Creative Accomplishments Conference

Plan to register and pick up packet no later than 7:40 a.m. on day of conference.
All presentations will take place sometime between 8:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.; presenters should plan on staying for the entire session for which they are scheduled.
Podium PCs (with PowerPoint) and document cameras will be available in all rooms. Presenters may bring their own laptops.
The allotted time for presentations will be 15 minutes (12 minutes for oral presentation and 3 minutes for questions).

Judging will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Poster size should be 36" high x 48" wide space, and be mounted on a firm board of the same size. Poster (and board) will be displayed on table-top tripods. (Note: Tri-fold boards of the appropriate size are readily available and easy to transport).

Lunch and awards presentations will take place from noon to 2:00 p.m.
