PaperCut Mobility Print App on Android devices.

PaperCut is Penn State Behrend's modern print management solution, designed to provide a secure, convenient, and efficient printing experience for students, faculty, and staff. By centralizing printing services and supporting secure release printing, PaperCut allows users to print documents and collect them at participating printers when and where they are needed after signing in and authenticating.

Whether printing from a campus computer or a personal device, PaperCut helps reduce waste, improve security, and streamline access to printing resources across campus. Please see instructions below: 

Note: If you choose to print in color, make sure you go to a location that has color printing available.

Computer Labs

  1. Choose file you would like to print
  2. Go to file > print
  3. Select available printer queue: 
    1. E8-Black_and_White-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01] 
    2. E8-Color-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01]
  4. Print your document

    1. Phone: Scan QR code to participating Mobile printing location and login with username and password. Then, select “release” to print out your document

      Or

       

    2. Lab PC: go to https://a3-grace.ad.psu.edu/mobile/release#login and sign in with username (abc1234) and password
      1. Locate printer location (i.e. E8-Hammermill) and select release

Android

  1. Connect to Eduroam Wi-Fi.
  2. Download Mobility Print: 
    1. Scan QR Code Or
    2.  https://o5-print-01.ad.psu.edu:9164/setup
  3. Open the Mobility Print app and log in with PSU username (abc1234) and password
  4. Turn on notifications for Mobility Print 
  5. Choose printer queues:
    1. E8-Black_and_White-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01] 
    2. E8-Color-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01]
  6. Select document and select “print”
    1. Make sure you select the correct printing queue for your file
  7. Scan QR code next to the participating Mobile printing location and sign in with your username and password. Then, select “release” to print out your document.

iOS (iPhones, iPads)

  1. Connect to Eduroam Wi-Fi.
  2. Download Mobility Print: 
    1. https://o5-print-01.ad.psu.edu:9164/setup *Use Safari browser
  3. Go to settings > general > profile > PaperCut Mobility Print > install
  4. Select your document and choose the desired print queue:
    1. E8-Black_and_White-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01] 
    2. E8-Color-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01]
  5. Adjust settings as needed and select “print”
  6. Scan QR code to participating Mobile printing location and login with username and password. Then, select “release” to print your document

Windows OS (Desktops/Laptops)

  1. Connect to Eduroam Wi-Fi.
  2. Install Mobility Print: Go to: https://o5-print-01.ad.psu.edu:9164/setup and install
  3. Select available printer queue: 
    1. E8-Black_and_White-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01] 
    2. E8-Color-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01]
  4. Print your document

    1. Scan QR code to participating Mobile printing location and sign in with your PSU username (abc1234) and password. Then, select “release” to print out your document

      Or

       

    2. Go to https://a3-grace.ad.psu.edu/mobile/release#login and sign in with PSU username (abc1234) and password
      1. Locate printer location (i.e. E8-Hammermill) and select release to print out your document

MAC OS

  1. Connect to Eduroam Wi-Fi.
  2. Install Mobility Print: https://o5-print-01.ad.psu.edu:9164/setup and select printer queues to install: 
    1. E8-Black_and_White-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01] 
    2. E8-Color-25-26 [O5-PRINT-01]
  3. Pick your document, choose desired print queue, adjust settings as needed, and select "print"
  4. Print your document

    1. Scan QR code to participating Mobile printing location and login with username and password. Then, select “release” to print out your document

      Or

       

    2. Go to https://a3-grace.ad.psu.edu/mobile/release#login and sign in with PSU username (abc1234) and password
      1. Locate printer location (i.e. E8-Hammermill) and select release to print out your document
