Why Penn State Behrend?
Behrend’s M.M.M. degree is flexible and convenient, and designed with working professionals in mind. The program can be pursued on a full-time or part-time schedule, and classes are primarily online, with just two on-campus visits per semester for hands-on, experiential learning.
You’ll enhance your skills through the program’s four components:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Manufacturing Management
- Quality and Lean Manufacturing
- Leadership and Communication
You’ll then put those new skills to work in a two-semester capstone course using market-based strategies to create a product, develop manufacturing and supply chain support, and project financial outcomes.
You’ll learn from engaged, professional faculty who bring their expertise in lean techniques, product delivery, six sigma quality, and modern supply chain management practices. And because the degree is offered jointly by Behrend’s School of Engineering and AACSB International-accredited Black School of Business, you’ll master all angles of manufacturing management, preparing you to be a leader both on the factory floor and in the boardroom.
