Student earns wings at Army's Basic Airborne Course

Miranda Boatman took a deep breath as she boarded the Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircraft. After two-plus weeks of training, the time had finally come.

Within minutes, the Penn State Behrend junior childhood and early adolescent education major would be more than 1,200 feet above ground. Then she would jump from the aircraft and fall at speeds exceeding 130 miles an hour.

Green2Go Program, a Success at Penn State Behrend, Expands to Other Campuses

A pilot program that tested reusable takeout containers at Dobbins Dining Hall and Bruno's Cafe will expand to all Penn State campuses this fall.

The Green2Go program offers washable, eco-friendly takeout containers for students who are too busy to sit for an extended lunch or dinner. The containers were first offered at Penn State Behrend and at the Pollock Dining Commons at University Park in March.
