Community members are invited to gain a closer look at the theory of evolution when Penn State Behrend celebrates Darwin Day with an evening of activities on Feb. 12. Held annually on the birthday of Charles Darwin, the day pays tribute to his legacy and scientific findings.
Penn State Behrend's swimming and diving teams dominated Washington and Jefferson in non-conference action on Jan. 12. Ten of the men won their events. In the women’s meet, three swimmers – Barbie Cessar, Abigail Witmer and Jessica Wyckoff – each won three events.
Charlotte de Vries, an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Penn State Behrend, spent the summer of 2017 at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, as part of a NASA Fellowship where she worked with ECLSS engineers.
