The Penn State alumni family grew by more than 15,000 this past weekend as the University recognized its spring 2020 graduates in a livestreamed commencement ceremony, which took place on Saturday, May 9.
With Gov. Tom Wolf’s easing of stay-at-home restrictions in 24 Pennsylvania counties on May 8 and his plan to reopen 13 additional counties starting on May 15, Penn State students from areas not currently under travel restrictions who have personal belongings remaining in on-campus housing may begin scheduling times for moving out of their residence halls at campuses where restrictions have also eased, the University announced today (May 9).
The final phase of a $690,000 trail-improvement project will limit access to the Cooper Road trailhead for Wintergreen Gorge over the next two weeks. The 14-mile trail system will still be accessible from locations at Penn State Behrend.

Penn State Behrend’s Black School of Business inducted 30 students into the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society on April 17. The students are enrolled in the college’s residential programs and in Penn State World Campus majors that are offered by the Black School.
