Program Overview
Our premier AutoCAD training courses are concise and intensive, designed to help the busy professional quickly become more productive. AutoCAD courses available include (but are not limited to):
- AutoCAD: Level 1
- AutoCAD: Level 2
- AutoCAD: Level 3
AutoCAD: Level 1
In this hands-on computer-aided design course, participants will learn the essential core topics for working with the AutoCAD software. The course begins with learning the basic tools for creating and editing 2D drawings. It then continues to explore the tools used to annotate drawings by adding text, hatching, and dimensions. More advanced tools, such as working with blocks and setting up layouts, are introduced to improve your efficiency with the software. Not every command or option is covered. The intent is to show the essential tools and concepts.
Course Outline:
- Understanding the AutoCAD workspace and user interface
- Basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools
- Drawing precision
- Organizing drawings with layers
- Analyzing model and object properties
- Advanced editing commands
- Introduction to Blocks
- Text, hatch, and dimensions
- Preparing a layout to be plotted
