Six Penn State faculty members -- Andrew Baxter, Jacqueline Bortiatynski, Liliana Naydan, Sarah K. Rich, John Roth and Jennifer Zosh -- have received the 2019 George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching.
"Lift Every Voice," the spring concert from the Choirs of Penn State Behrend, will be held Sunday, April 14, at 4 p.m. in the college’s McGarvey Commons. It is free and open to the public.

Nearly 40 girls from six different school districts took part in Women in Technology Day, which was held March 22 and sponsored by the Penn State Behrend's Youth Education Outreach office. Several companies, including National Fuel Gas Company, Erie Insurance, TechnipFMC and Wabtec Corporation, hosted activities designed to introduce students to careers that are made possible by majoring in computing or information technology.
A record 186 companies attended Penn State Behrend's Spring Career and Internship Fair, held March 20 in the college’s Junker Center. Nearly 750 students attended the event, which was sponsored by the Academic and Career Planning Center.
Presentations on 3D animation, virtual reality and augmented reality, as well as musical performances and a slow-motion video booth, will all be offered March 25-26 during the fourth-annual Digital Media Festival at Penn State Behrend.
