Behrend volleyball player sets records for career aces, kills

Dillon Hildebrand, a junior from Red Lion, set records for career service aces (68) and kills (819) in volleyball matches against Penn State Altoona and Wittenberg. Behrend baseball team wins I-90 Cup

Penn State Behrend’s baseball team won the I-90 Cup with two wins over Fredonia. The Lions jumped to an early lead in the second game, scoring five runs in the first inning. The college’s track and field, volleyball, golf, tennis and water polo teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights.

Students use GPS to plot National Fuel pipeline at Women in Technology Day

Nearly 40 girls from six different school districts took part in Women in Technology Day, which was held March 22 and sponsored by the Penn State Behrend's Youth Education Outreach office. Several companies, including National Fuel Gas Company, Erie Insurance, TechnipFMC and Wabtec Corporation, hosted activities designed to introduce students to careers that are made possible by majoring in computing or information technology.

Behrend baseball team sweeps Muskingum

Penn State Behrend’s baseball team swept Muskingum in a nonconference doubleheader, winning 8-4 and 7-5. With two outs in the 10th inning, the team scored four runs to win the opener.
