Two researchers at Penn State Behrend have been selected for the 2021 Great Lakes Leadership Award, which recognizes work that raises awareness of critical issues in the Great Lakes ecosystem. Each will receive $10,000 in funding to advance their research.
The Rhythms of Life Series at Penn State Behrend showcases international music and dance. This year's performances will include stilt dancers, Ivory Coast drummers and Celtic roots music.

Penn State Behrend’s soccer teams opened the 2021 season with wins at the Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament. The men’s team defeated Baldwin Wallace, 4-1, in the title game; the women’s team defeated Wooster, 3-1.
