Behrend career fair to feature 165 companies

Penn State Behrend's spring Career and Internship Fair will feature 165 companies, including Bausch & Lomb, Nissan and Westinghouse Electric. The March 29 program is open to all students at Erie County colleges and all students and alumni of any Penn State campus.

Wu named 2023 Hetzel Award recipient for leadership

Yingxin "Cindy" Wu, a senior majoring in nursing at Penn State Behrend, has been named recipient of the 2023 Ralph Dorn Hetzel Memorial Award. Named for Penn State’s 10th president, the Hetzel Award recognizes a combination of high scholastic attainment together with good citizenship and participation and leadership in student activities.

Behrend women’s water polo team beats Utica

The Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team beat Utica, 14-7, on the final day of the Collegiate Water Polo Association’s regional tournament. Eleven players scored in the win — the team’s first victory of the season.

Behrend baseball team beats Monmouth in Florida

A 10-run inning carried the Penn State Behrend baseball team past Monmouth during spring break play. Isaac Stouffer, a senior from Punxsutawney, had three hits in five at-bats, including a home run, a triple and two RBIs.
