The Penn State Behrend softball team won its ninth Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship with a sweep of Mt. Aloysius on May 15. The Lions (28-6) will face Rochester in the first round of the NCAA Division III Regional on Friday, May 21.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced many of Penn State Behrend’s international students to rethink their approach to their coursework. “We thought it would be a few weeks,” said Laura Gil, who is from Colombia. “We had no idea.”
