The Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is featured in “The Best 296 Business Schools: 2015 Edition,” published this month by Princeton Review Books.
The school’s MBA program “provides the best value for a working student in the local area,” according to the Princeton Review, which ranks schools based on academics, job-placement rates and admissions selectivity.
PSUAlert is Penn State's emergency notification system for students, faculty and staff. The system will be used to alert members of Penn State's campus communities of emergencies, campus closings and other urgent information. Using this portal, students, faculty and staff can choose to receive PSUAlert messages by text message, voice message and email.
The new video game collection at Penn State Behrend's John M. Lilley Library includes more than 150 titles, including "Mass Effect" and "The Legend of Zelda." “These are must-plays, in terms of game design,” said Matthew White, assistant professor of game development. “These are titles that revolutionized the types of games we play. They set the trends.”
Zach Knight is a year away from graduation, but the Penn State Behrend student and aspiring musician is already putting his college education to good use.
Early last year, Knight, who previously majored in General Business and Project and Supply Chain Management, decided to make a change.
Students to Represent Penn State Behrend at CFA Investment Challenge
Five students will represent the Sam and Irene Black School of Business at the 2015 Chartered Financial Analyst Institute Research Challenge. They will produce a detailed financial report and valuation of Black Box Networking Services, a top provider of voice and data networks, and present their findings to a panel of high-profile financial analysts.
