Penn State Behrend’s 2022-23 Speaker Series will conclude on Thursday, March 23, with a free, public talk by Wanjiku “Wawa” Gatheru, the founder of Black Girl Environmentalist, whose supports Black and non-binary climate-change activists.
The Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team beat Utica, 14-7, on the final day of the Collegiate Water Polo Association’s regional tournament. Eleven players scored in the win — the team’s first victory of the season.

Samuel Hetrick, a junior from New Bethlehem, won the high jump at the All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track and Field Conference championships, clearing a height of 2.15 meters. He will compete in the NCAA DIII National Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 9-11.
