Psychology students at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, used the popular Pokémon Go game to test the spatial intelligence of 60 male and female players. The men drew more accurate maps after playing the game for 20 minutes.
Manufacturing employment in Erie County has decreased since the 1970s. Some jobs have come back, but the downward trend likely will continue, said Ken Louie, director of the Economic Research Institute of Erie. "There's a ratcheting effect downward, and that may be our major challenge," he said.

Casually known as “Smoke School,” the program is designed for individuals who want to become certified in areas of air pollution prevention, technology, regulation, measurement and science.
