Applications are now being accepted for speakers who would like to be considered for TEDxPSUErie, an independently organized TED event that will be held on the campus of Penn State Behrend. TEDxPSUErie is scheduled from 1 to 6 p.m. April 16 and carries the theme “Thinking Across Boundaries.” The event is designed to foster learning, inspiration and wonder by bringing bright minds together to discuss a variety of subjects.

With a selfie station, free swag and one-on-one conversations, Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, introduced the Stand for State campaign at launch events on Jan. 27. The initiative, launched University-wide the week of Jan.
Nicolas Altstaedt’s versatility will be on display Feb. 23 when he performs as part of Music at Noon: The Logan Series at Penn State Behrend. He will be joined by classical pianist Alexander Lonquich. The performance takes place at noon in the McGarvey Commons of the Reed Union Building. Admission is free, and reserved parking for audience members will be available in the Reed lot.
