The Upward Bound Summer Program is a six-week residential, co-ed summer program for high school students that was held this year at Penn State Behrend.

Programming includes prep courses in math, science, and English. Students can take dual-enrollment classes if they qualify. Participants also are introduced to a world language and theatre.

Attendees participate in a variety of STEAM-related hands-on activities designed to assist with career exploration. The 2020 Upward Bound group also enjoyed an excursion to the Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park.
