Myron Jones, a pioneer in Erie’s radio and television broadcasting industry and a longtime friend and supporter of Penn State Behrend, died June 28 in Erie. He was 92.
A total of 50 seventh- and eighth-grade female students attended GE Girls @ Penn State Behrend in late June. The program — one of just 20 in the world — is a weeklong science, technology, engineering and math camp where attendees are paired with female mentors from GE Transportation.
