Youth Education Outreach

Recognizing that successful communities and organizations start with young people who are motivated, educated, and excited to learn, Penn State Behrend offers Youth Education Outreach programs. These programs give area youth the opportunity to use the college's resources to participate in unique and exciting learning experiences.

K-12 Outreach Events

The following programs have been designed to engage area youth using fun, interactive, hands-on activities. These events are held during the school year and target various age groups and academic areas of interest.

Educational Field Trips

Would you like to bring a new experience or activity to your class or group? Penn State Behrend offers fun, educational field trips—in person or virtually! Request a customized educational experience with activities and workshops that are appropriate for your curriculum and grade level.

What happens on our college campus during the summer? Plenty of in-depth STEAM experiences are available for K-12 students and teachers.

Outreach Partners

Penn State Behrend Youth Education Outreach partners with other organizations that share in our mission to bring K-12 STEAM experiences to youth in our region.
