Holocaust survivor to speak at Penn State Behrend on Remembrance Day

Holocaust survivor Erwin Froman will discuss his experience later this week when he visits Penn State Behrend on Remembrance Day, Thursday, April 12, for a special lecture. His talk begins at 11 a.m. and will be held in room 180 of the college’s Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center.

U.S. News ranks Penn State Behrend part-time MBA program among nation's best

Recent rankings by U.S. News & World Report place the part-time MBA program at the Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend among the top 150 programs in the nation. The school offers a 30-credit MBA in three formats: Full- or part-time study in Erie, or part-time study at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township.

Behrend track athletes qualify for ECAC championships

Seventeen members of Penn State Behrend's outdoor track and field teams qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference championships after the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet. Grant Rodgers, a sophomore from Oil City, set a school record in the 400-meter run, finishing in 49.04.
